Yami Gautam Slams Rising Paid PR Culture Ahead of Dhurandhar’s Release_我的网站

A |     Prabhas' upcoming film Fauzi has created quite the buzz, and it will see him reunite with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi. Fans will get a chance to see the actor in uniform as a soldier of Azad Hind Force. Recently, Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the film unveiled the powerful title poster, showcasing Prabhas in a fierce and commanding avatar. Interestingly,     Fauzi has a vast world waiting to be explored, and director Hanu Raghavapudi himself has confirmed that the film will be released in two parts.     Talking about the same, Raghavapudi shared, "We're portraying one world of Prabhas in this movie, and the second installment will explore another dimension. It unites Prabhas, the Pushpa makers, and Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi in what’s hailed as “a union of generations.” With the tagline “The bravest tale of a soldier,” Fauzi unravels a forgotten legend of courage and heroism.          The director has maintained that he views the movie as a bright, positive portrayal of our freedom fighters, heroeswhose stories may have ended tragically but who remain extraordinary, nonetheless. He believes that not many filmmakers have depicted them heroically, and that it is important to celebrate them as true heroes by making aspirational films about them, rather than presenting their stories in a grim or sorrowful manner.     Meanwhile, social media star Imanvi will be sharing the screen with Prabhas in the film. While the film has been amongst the talks, some individuals have expressed concerns about the level of violence shown. Also, there has been a lot of negative sentiment surrounding the film before its release. In response to this, Aditya Dhar's wife, actress Yami Gautam, has publicly addressed the ongoing trend of paid PR.           On her Instagram, Yami wrote a detailed note describing the paid PR trend as "a plague that will affect the future." She started with, “There is something I’ve been wanting to express for a really long time. I feel today is that day, & I must. This so-called trend of giving money, in the disguise of marketing a film, to ensure good ‘hype’ for a film is created, or else ‘they’ will continuously write negative things (even before the film is released), until you pay ‘them’ money, feels nothing but kind of extortion. Just because this arrangement is accessible to anyone, whether to ‘hype’ a film or spread negativity against another actor/a film, is a plague that is going to affect the future of our industry in a big way.”                                                                 View this post on Instagram          A post shared by Yami Gautam Dhar (@yamigautam)               She further added, “Unfortunately, if anyone feels it’s harmless & let’s do it because it’s the new ‘normal,’ they are mistaken. This monster of a ‘trend’ is eventually going to bite everyone. If the truth is exposed about a million things under the garb of who & what ‘success’ is over the past 5 years especially, unfortunately, it’s not going to be a pretty picture for many. In South, no one can dare do such things because the industry stands united on a lot of fronts.
