The talented batter chose to fly back to India to be with her close friend and teammate Smriti Mandhana, who has been going through a difficult personal phase. The recent days have been extremely tough for Mandhana, India’s star opener and vice-captain of the women’s national team. She was supposed to get married to music composer Palash Muchhal on Sunday, November 23. However, the wedding had to be stopped unexpectedly due to health and personal reasons, leaving the cricketer emotionally distressed. Rodrigues’ quiet decision to immediately return to support Smriti Mandhana is being praised as a powerful example of loyalty and care, both on and off the field. Suniel Shetty’s post highlighted how such actions speak louder than any public statement. Many fans responded by calling it a beautiful example of true friendship in sports and applauded Shetty for recognising the importance of empathy during personal struggles. As the news spreads, support continues to pour in for Smriti Mandhana during this challenging time, with fans hoping for peace and strength for her and admiration flowing toward Rodrigues for choosing compassion first. Also Read: Suniel Shetty REVEALS why he rejects south film offers。

B | According to sources, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are expected to reunite once again on a new film directed by Ayan Mukerji. This project would mark their reunion after ten years. While details regarding the collaboration and the film's core team have been released, India Today has reported that the movie will be a loose adaptation of Raj Kapoor and Nargis's 1956 classic, Chori Chori. Sources close to the project say that Ranbir is set to re-envision a classic film originally directed by his great-grandfather, Raj Kapoor, by mixing it with a modern, contemporary perspective. The original movie depicted the unexpected connection that developed between a runaway heiress and a quick-witted reporter during a journey filled with romance, comedy, and social commentary. According to the sources, the upcoming film will not directly replicate the original plot but will instead offer a fresh interpretation of its core concept incorporating modern character developments and updated narrative elements. Ranbir is reportedly planning to revive the famous RK Films banner for this project, motivated by his own desire to restore the family legacy. The movie is expected to be the first title under the reestablished banner. With Ayan directing and Ranbir and Deepika in the lead roles, the film is not only a huge onscreen reunion but also a modern tribute to a classic collaboration between Raj Kapoor and Nargis. The upcoming project will mark the reunion of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone after a decade, following their last collaboration on Tamasha (2015). Their on-screen chemistry, especially in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was greatly appreciated by their fans. On the work front, Ranbir is occupied in filming Love & War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He will also be seen in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayana which is slated to release in two parts. Meanwhile, Deepika is currently involved in the making of King, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.
